    This is all fake that Satyam is hiking salaries. i have been in Stayam since 2.5 yrs but have got only 1 appraisal till now. Joines at 2.04 and now package in 2.74

    i want to thank god that you people have finally come to know the realities. As per my observations, they are trying to recruit people who will dance to their tune irrespective of their talent.

    I have got 2 years of experience. Presently working for one of the top US base MNC. Now, I got an offer from Satyam with very good package (none other company offered this package) along with onsite opportunity. I am main concerns
    1. Working culture
    2. Growth prospective

    Please suggest me should I proceed with?

    Hi all,

    am asking u all…
    i have 2 yrs of exp in embedded
    i have cleared all rounds in satyam…Hr told me i ll send u the offer letter within a week.almost more than 1 week got over…i have called 2 times..but the HR told me i ll send…but still nw i havent received my offer letter…

    waiting for ur reply….

    thilaka muralidharan working in HCU SAP under Manish Mehta. She is highly temperamental and can be cheated easily if you can get in the books of her worthless son who is an idiot and good for nothing. People usually buy her scents or chocolates for her son if they want to get their work done. But be very careful…..she is a very egoistic person and double-tongued….she will speak as if she is very ethical and if you directly hint that she should get you a job for exchange of some favours, she will deny that….If you speak of foreign courses for her son who is studying animation after failing in 11th standard and also Polytechnic, she will respond well. Approach her tactically and put tons of ice over her, butter her with possibilities in animation course which her son is doing and then get your work done. contact her at [email protected]

    Dear ‘Guest’:

    Are you speaking of Thilaka Muralidharan – the secretary to Manish Mehta SAP division Chennai in Satyam office near Sun TV teynampet?

    It seems so……Her interpersonal skills are pathetic though she is a good boot-licker! She is very fussy; one day she would say she is not eating outside because her ‘husband’ is a very spiritual type; then other days, she will order masala doshas and other items from the pantry through Gokul. One day she will talk well; on another day she will shout the roof down for no apparent reason. There were rumours she even attempted suicide twice last year because her son was not doing well and she also had other family problems. Such psychiatric case is holding the position of level 7 manager though she typically lazes around the office and gets things done only by ordering others about. She has buttered her boss very well and goes to his house and pampers his mother and wife with false adulations; this is how she is getting promotion every 2 years without fail! And we poor techies have to slog it out and still get shouted at if anything goes wrong even slightly. No privilege of marking us full ourselves; then how will we get high achievement award every year as she does? The cell phone theft you say she did….how did you know? As far as I know she controls the cellphone and other materials of the unit; so is she misusing that power? Then why did you not put up a complaint. I heard some relative of Manish also was dismissed for stealing. Poor man, he is good enough though slightly of a short-temper and suspicious nature; but he is being surrounded by thieves, is it? How has he failed to notice it?

    The appraisal policy of Satyam is ridiculous. I know of one instance where a lady secretary to a SVP just filled her own appraisal (which should have been done by the SVP as her reporting manager). She had marked herself ‘full’ for all attributes. In fact, she fills in the appraisal of most of the persons who work in her boss’ unit because that man is busy shuttling between places around the world. So much that she – a mere steno with a second class graduate degree bosses around the unit as if she is the boss whereas MEs and M.Techs have to bend over backwards to please her (otherwise you know what will happen? she will mark them low). She is termed as a ‘High Achiever’ because her appraisals are very good and she gets regular pay increase. Her job profile is mostly confined to setting up calls and fixing up travel arrangment of her boss ( A ticketing agent who does the same job may hardly get Rs10000, but this bitch takes back nearly 75,000 bucks! while we software people sweat it out and the profit of the unit is distributed!).

    She has a worthless son who is into drugs, womanizing, and stealing from her purse. She has got many of her cronies good jobs in Satyam.

    Her name is Thilaka working in CMR Chennai under Manish Mehta. She has infact stolen a cellphone from the company and given to her son and he has promptly lost it.
    She just puts on a lot of scent on her body and giggles and gets along well with the superiors while with the junior employees, she behaves as a terror. Everyday she comes typically late (though she is supposed to be in the office by 9 a.m., never does she come to the office before 10 a.m. and the days when she comes even at 9-30 are a rarity; she coming at 10-30 or later is also not strange! So much for punctuality. After coming to the office, She will keep sending emails enquiring about good courses to put her worthless son in; other times her father or some guest will come to meet her; otherwise, she will be gossiping in the phone; or she will be checking share prices and doing some speculative trading on the net. Curiously, she has been allowed net surfing privileges as she is A HIGH ACHIEVER! One wonders what achievement means if a sloppy worker like that is given high achiever award. I hope Ramalinga Raju puts an end to such mal practices where some employees are allowed to go scot free after all malpractices.

    Obviously, I should be anonymous because I work on the same floor with that bitch.

    Hi all

    This question was asked many times in this blog, about hierarchy in Satyam. How is this defined in Satyam, I know that it starts from level 3(low level) – 13 (Vice President).

    Where usually Sr software Engineers will join? Is that 6/7?

    What would be the level of a team lead (in general)?

    What would be the level of a 1st line manager?

    What would be the level of a practice Head??

    Please I am not talking about blessed (recommendation) candidates, just give some info on how this is generally practiced.

    hii,frnds,i placed in satyam recently.i got the offerlettter.satyam announced the package based on colleges.In one college package is 3 lakhs and in other college which has same standard as other college,but package is 2.55lakhs.why it is like this?

    I cleared the technical test(SATYAM) and attended the Technical Interview in Chennai on 10/02/2007, the guy asked me to leave for the day and he said ‘Our HR will call you back!!!…’. Will there be any call from the HR or am i not selected. I have done the interview well…Please send any comments on this or anyone had such a kind of experiance?…

    Hi, i attended the interview process on 10th of Feb 2007, and cleared thr Technical Test and took up a technical interview, the guy who interviewd me told that i can leave for the day and the HR would call me up?…I am much confused what should i do now!!!…
