Open Source businesses are more hype than reality

James Gosling says that open source businesses are more hype than reality and
that the whole debate on open sourcing Java is "very weird".

He made these statements in Sydney as part of a national lecture tour.

Considering Gosling’s status in the Java community, these statements could have
major consequences and may even make many developers rethink their approach to
open source and revisit their plans for open source based businesses.
